Community Outreach

The RAPTORS always strive to be active in our community. We volunteer yearly for the Festival of Races setup and water distribution, as well as the water distribution for the Iceman Cometh race. This past year we also conducted team drives for a local food pantry and the Flint water crisis. Raptor community service not only helps the region but also acts as a team-building activity. We become more unified and more aware of the place we live in.

We contribute time, materials, and financial resources to spread the message of FIRST. We hold our own annual event called Super Science Saturday in which we put together experiments for kids of all ages. This event draws in kids from all over the area who come to have fun and learn about science. We also participate in our local Cherry Festival Parade and Friday Night Live to create exposure for our team and FIRST robotics.
